Sandwichs Falafel et Shwarma, ressemble \u00e0 la nourriture que vous mangez sur le pouce, non?<\/span><\/p>\n

D\u00e9trompez vous. La nourriture du Moyen Orient n\u2019est pas seulement mang\u00e9e dans une enveloppe en papier avec une fourchetteen plastique.<\/span><\/p>\n

A quelques pas de Madison Park<\/a> se trouve le restaurant ilili<\/a>, un restaurant m\u00e9diterran\u00e9en moderne o\u00f9 le chef Philippe Massoud \u00e9l\u00e8ve les plats libanais traditionnel en cr\u00e9ation gastronomique. Chaque option sur le menu est une r\u00e9invention d’un plat classique du Moyen Orient, magnifiquement pr\u00e9sent\u00e9 dans l’\u00e9l\u00e9gante salle \u00e0 manger sur deux niveaux.<\/span><\/p>\n

Une grande vari\u00e9t\u00e9 d’options sont disponibles dans le menu Restaurant Week<\/h2>\n

L\u2019un des meilleurs moment de l’ann\u00e9e est la NYC Restaurant Week<\/a>, qui a lieu en \u00e9t\u00e9 et en hiver pendant environ 3 semaines. Pour $29 pour le d\u00e9jeuner et $42 pour le d\u00eener, vous pouvez profiter d\u2019un repas avec entr\u00e9e, plat, dessert dans l\u2019un des nombreux restaurant de New York.<\/p>\n

Beaucoup de menus limitent les options lors de la Restaurant Week<\/em> \u00e0 New York et vous pr\u00e9sente un menu r\u00e9duit.<\/p>\n

Mais pas \u00e0 ilili. Leur menu Restaurant Week<\/em> est vari\u00e9 et vous permet de d\u00e9guster une vari\u00e9t\u00e9 de plats de leur menu r\u00e9gulier.<\/p>\n

Pour aller de pair avec votre repas, la liste des vins comprend plusieurs vins libanais de Massaya<\/a>. Nous avons choisi le ros\u00e9 2013 qui \u00e9tait juste la bonne combinaison de croquant et acidit\u00e9 pour accompagner notre d\u00eener.<\/p>\n

L’entr\u00e9e \u00e9tait une s\u00e9lection de plusieurs petits plats classiques, chacun magnifiquement pr\u00e9sent\u00e9. Bien s\u00fbr, nous avons command\u00e9 de l’hoummous pour accompagner notre repas, et la pr\u00e9paration d\u2019ilili est agr\u00e9ment\u00e9e d\u2019huile d\u2019olive fra\u00eeche et servie avec du pain pita chaud fait maison.<\/p>\n

Notre prochaine s\u00e9lection est un autre plat m\u00e9diterran\u00e9en classique, le falafel. Mais au lieu de la forme ronde typique auquel on pourrait s\u2019attendre pour un falafel, la pr\u00e9paration singuli\u00e8re est pr\u00e9sent\u00e9e sous forme de quatre cubes parfaits de falafel constitu\u00e9s \u00e0 partir de pois chiches et f\u00e8ves avec une pinc\u00e9e de tomates au dessus et de la sauce tahini pour tremper.<\/p>\n

La moussaka \u00e9tait tout simplement pr\u00e9par\u00e9e \u00e0 partir d’aubergines fra\u00eeches,oignon,tomate et ail le tout recouvert d\u2019une julienne de radis croquants.<\/p>\n

Un nouveau plat pour moi que nous avons \u00e9galement essay\u00e9 \u00e9tait le arnabeet mekleh, des morceaux de chou-fleur l\u00e9g\u00e8rement frits servis avec du labneh tahini.<\/p>\n

Malgr\u00e9 tout cela pour l’entr\u00e9e, je ne pouvais pas attendre pour attaquer notre plat principal. J’ai choisi l’agneau makloubeh qui se composait de tendres morceaux d\u2019agneau, aubergines frits et riz avec pistaches, le tout compens\u00e9e avec un yogourt frais au concombre.<\/p>\n

Pour Matt, le loup \u00e9tait parfaitement cuit avec une peau l\u00e9g\u00e8rement croustillante et servi avec une pur\u00e9e de chou-fleur l\u00e9g\u00e8re.<\/p>\n

Nous ne sommes cependant pas arr\u00eat\u00e9s l\u00e0. Pour le dessert, nous avons choisi deux options d\u00e9cadentes. J’ai pris le cheesecake labneh \u00e9tonnamment complexe tr\u00e8s \u00e9loign\u00e9 du cheesecake ordinaire. Non seulement le cheesecake etait fabriqu\u00e9s \u00e0 partir de labne et semoule, il y avait entre autres de la sauce d’hibiscus, de la mousse de fraise rose, de la gel\u00e9e de basilic thai et de la rhubarbe confite!<\/p>\n

La sp\u00e9cialit\u00e9 d\u2019ilili, le candy bar<\/em> \u00e9tait particuli\u00e8rement bien construit et complexe, avec non seulement une ganache au chocolat, mais \u00e9galement du caramel \u00e0 la figue, du dulce de leche, et deux pr\u00e9parations de pistache.<\/p>\n
